Join Our 30-Day Challenge to Add Flavor to Your Fitness Routine
When someone mentions working out, the first thing we think of is heading to the gym or a class. Those are awesome ways to get your sweat on, but sometimes we don't think we have enough time to squeeze in a workout—or worse, we're bored by the same old moves. That’s why we partnered with our friends at Bai to help you spice up your daily fitness routine.
We also asked our favorite exercise experts to spill the beans on how they work fitness into their busy lives. Yogi Kathryn Budig, for example, practices pranayama, a yogic style of breathing where you pulse your diaphragm muscles in rapid motion. "I'll do it when I'm driving my car or even standing in line at the airport," she says. "It's like my little dirty abdominal secret."
If you catch yourself debating that lunchtime workout, take a peek at the calendar for other ideas—sometimes a solo dance party before hopping into bed is just more fun. Share how you’re spicing up your routine using the hashtag #flavorfulfitness, and don’t forget to check back next month for a brand new challenge.

The 7-Day Digital Detox for Real People
We’ve all been there: complaining about being too connected while simultaneously refreshing our inbox, texting a friend, updating our status, and posting our dinner (only one more shot, we swear!). Yet somehow unplugging—even for a few days—seems like an impossible feat. Just how difficult is it for us to disconnect? According to a national survey, a remarkable 67 percent of cell owners check their phone for messages, alerts, or calls, even when they don’t notice ringing or vibrating, and 44 percent have slept with their phone next to the bed to make sure they didn’t miss any calls, texts or updates during the night.
Still, the benefits of unplugging—reduced stress, enhanced creativity, and improved interpersonal connections, to name a few—far outweigh any temporary discomfort. To help you along, we’ve created a seven-day detox plan filled with practical steps (no one’s expecting you to go off the grid here). By taking it one task at a time, you may even find that you’re able to enjoy the present without pausing to record it.
