Take a #CelluliteSaturday Photo Because Those “Cottage Cheese Thighs” Are Totally Normal

There are a lot of selfies on Instagram, usually pics from a day you were really feeling it. But how about selfies of the parts we usually try to cover up? Well, now we’ve got #CelluliteSaturday.

Canadian body-positive activist Kenzie Brenna started the hashtag to remind us that cellulite is normal—and really common. About 90 percent of women (and 10 percent of men) have cellulite. It’s mostly genetic, and it affects people of all shapes and sizes. So you should get used to seeing it (even if you don’t want to post your own #CelluliteSaturday pic). But if you do, you can look to Brenna for some inspiration:

Birth Control Shots for Men Work Better Than Condoms, but There Are Still Some Downsides

Spencer Pratt Well, Spencer Pratt (and men everywhere), your wish has finally become a reality. Scientists developed a birth control shot that works like the pill does for women. The shot is 96 percent effective at preventing pregnancies, which means it's better than condoms (by a long shot) and a little less effective than birth control pills.

While this is exciting news, it's unlikely these shots will be available anytime soon. Scientists ended the research trial early after 20 men dropped out because of side effects, including depression, acne, and increased libido. These side effects were deemed unacceptable, but women who have taken the pill know it can come with plenty of downsides. Plus, three in four men in the study said they would get the shot in the future.

What It Feels Like to Use a Public Bathroom When You're Genderqueer

Public restrooms are full of awkward situations. Maybe you hear two people having a loud conversation between stalls or you realize there's no toilet paper left when it's too late.

That's nothing compared to the struggle of using public bathrooms when you’re genderqueer or transgender. Imagine wondering every time you enter a restroom if someone will question (or worse, harm) you because they think you're using the "wrong" one.

That's exactly what deodorant company Secret captures in their latest ad. Androgynous queer artist Karis Wilde illustrates the struggle of using a women's bathroom when you don't conform to societal expectations of what women look like:

Of course, we know Secret is just trying to sell us deodorant by showing us how well their product works in stressful situations, but we love the way they’re doing it.
