Most Women Shave Their Pubic Hair for Better Hygiene. Here’s Why That’s a Bad Idea

Almost all women—a whopping 84 percent—groom their pubic hair (or have done so in the past), according to a new study in JAMA Dermatology. What's more surprising: More than half of the women surveyed say they shave to be cleaner, but it's actually more hygienic to keep the hair down there.
