Sometimes It Takes a Fifth Grader to Point Out That We Should Never Tolerate Harassment

It may be funny to think about chasing your elementary school crush around the playground, but like any stage in life, there's a point when playing around goes too far. One fifth grader, Zoë, was getting this kind of attention from a boy in her class, and she was not having any of it. So she wrote a list of "rules and regulations" to set him straight:

Phrases like "all that playing and foolishness" may make you laugh, but the rules "don't get behind me" and "don't touch my shoulder" mirror the very real harassment women face every day.

Zoë's list went viral on Twitter, and dozens of people have applauded the precocious fifth grader for knowing how to set boundaries at such a young age:
