The Affordable Care Act (ACA) makes preventive care affordable by requiring the coverage with minimum pay for recommended preventive services. Many American families are able to make and keep yearly doctor's visits with no co-payments, co-insurance or other cost sharing. Along with the preventive care services other services such as domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse, breastfeeding equipment, and nutritional counseling was added to help families seek the right help that is needed. Preventing diseases is the key to improving Americans health that would help keep rising health care cost under control.
